Litepanels continues to expand and enhance their formidable LED line with the Astra 3X Daylight LED Panel that offers 3x the brightness as the original Daylight 1×1. The technological advancement and enhancement is evident in the high CRI and significantly increased brightness due to the use of tightly-binned LEDs and fine-tuned TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, resulting in a longer throw over a wider field. As in previous versions of the 1×1 form factor, the Astra has flicker-free 0-100% dimming with no visible color shift.

The Astra’s functions may be adjusted locally using the intuitive built-in controls, or operated remotely with one of the optional DMX512 Modules, available in XLR 5-Pin, RJ-45, or Wireless formats. Each module provides Master/Replica configuration for the control of single lights, or for multiple light fixtures in a network or daisy chain. In addition, the Astra Bluetooth module provides the same kind of control of single or multiple lights from a portable device, using the free Litepanels SmartLite app download. The accessory modules slide into place on the rear of the Astra panel simply and quickly, with no wiring or complex installation required.

The Astra 3X Daylight comes with both US and EU power cables and a universal (100-240 VAC) adapter. It also operates on 13-24 VDC batteries by using V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plates, available separately. The unique curved yoke design features a TVMP connector for hanging or stand mounting the panel almost anywhere, and two additional 1/4″-20 female taps offer alternate mounting points.

Litepanels Gemini 2×1 RGBWW LED Soft Panel (Standard Yoke)

Flexibility and control are key to the creation of the Gemini 2×1 RGBWW LED Soft Panel with Standard Yoke and EU Power Cable from Litepanels. The aluminum-constructed, 25 x 6.5 x 12.5″ fixture has three lighting modes. The CCT color temperature control has six factory presets in increments from 2700 to 6000K. There are also six presets for user-defined color temperature and plus/minus green control. The HSI Color mode allows you to adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity, while Gel mode permits your choice from a library of often-used filters. A firmware update adds a Lighting Effects mode that includes TV simulation, hue burst, paparazzi, strobe, fire, squares, fireworks, emergency lights, pulse, and party lights. The light has a CRI/TLCI rating of 97 for daylight balance and 99 for tungsten balance, indicating a very accurate rendition of color. The Gemini is dimmable from 100 to 0% without flicker or color shift. Settings and features are displayed on the rear LCD screen.

All of these adjustments can be made locally on the unit or remotely via a console, thanks to the Gemini’s built-in DMX. There’s even the option of wireless DMX or Bluetooth control via a separately-purchased remote module. The Gemini is ready for worldwide use, thanks to its built-in 100 to 240 VAC power supply but it can also run on batteries when power is unavailable.

The Gemini has a number of convenience features, such as the ability to stack and gang several lights together with an optional yoke and hardware. You can also daisy-chain multiple lights together in Master/Slave mode, allowing a single designated “Master” light to control the others. This version of the Gemini ships with a standard yoke and an EU power cable.

The Litepanels Brick One Bi-Color On-Camera Light Kit includes a Litepanels Brick on-camera light, a Seahorse case with custom cut foam, a power supply, a gel frame, and a 60° honeycomb grid.
